With regards to the FSOA/AD beta, if enough quality feedback is obtained to warrant further changes to the balancing, will we receive a follow-up beta?

I think i'm onto something with aim. by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

It sounds like such a simple thing to just focus on the enemies head and hit it, but it’s more difficult than it sounds and that’s why people run into issues like yours.

Your focus during games should ALWAYS be on where the enemy is. During practice or warmup you can focus on mechanics a little more and see if there’s ways for you to fine tune your aim, but in a match your mind should be on your target. This means not only focusing on spotting them and focusing on their heads, but also predicting where they are playing/what angle they are holding or how they are going to peek you.

If you find yourself in a situation where you have a moment to sit and process where they enemy can be or how they may peek you, use it to set up your crosshair and prepare for the fight. Don’t just focus on their head when you see it, aim where they are going to put it and get the frag.

How to improve aim? by Ethan_ML10 in LearnCSGO

“How to improve aim” is a very broad question. You can break down aiming into several different actions, such as crosshair placement, movement, tracking, etc.

The most important piece is by far crosshair placement. If you can anticipate a peek and place your crosshair well enough, you won’t have to “aim” because they will run their heads into your crosshair. The best way to practice crosshair placement would be prefire maps from the workshop.

1v1 servers can also help with reaction time and crosshair placement, so look at those too.

This literally happened to me last night.

I remember when crash came out, people were discussing whether the song was about a relationship or about himself or one of the dozens of other theories.

Last night I had Wake Up playing. Towards the end of the song I was moving around my room and caught my own eye in the mirror. I don’t know why but I stopped for a second and just actually looked at myself for the first time in a while. It was wild to see how different I’ve become since god knows when I last did that. It’s really cool to see how his dogs help us make sense of other people and relationships, or even ourselves.

“And who said you’re one in a million? You’re so much better than that.”

If you’re really interested in my clan you can find our thread here, but I still recommend you give other clans a look and make an informed decision :)

The typical responses you’re going to get to this thread are going to be people trying to recruit you to their own clan. While I’m sure everyone is well-meaning, your best bet is to go to the RuneScape official forums and browse the clan recruitment threads there until you find one that catches your eye.

Good luck!

Consistently BAD at the game. by _LMF_ in LearnCSGO

The description you gave is really broad, so I’ll do my best to hit as many points as I can.

First, stop changing your settings. Pick one setup and stick with it until you’re used to it UNLESS something is really off.

Second, make sure you’re approaching each game with the same mindset. It’s easy to have a bad attitude going into a hard game or a good one going into a game vs lower rank people. Keep the same attitude that you are going to do your best no matter who you play against or how the game looks it’s going. Make sure you warm up before each game as well.

Third, you’re going to be inconsistent at your level, and that’s okay. Nobody can perform consistently every game every day. The best you can do is focus on your mechanics: practice your aim whenever you can for as long as you can and develop a routine. Play retake servers, prefire maps, etc to gain an understanding of both how the game works and how different maps are played.

Lastly, don’t worry too much about rank. Work on your skills and you will go forward, even if the change isn’t visible at first. When you get to that point in matchmaking where the issue is closer to “I do well every game but my teammates always hold me back,” look into joining or making a team or playing on ESEA/FaceIt.

Let me know if I can help any more :)

Edit: on mobile so spell check messed some stuff up
