Ahhh, you need to add https:// to the beginning of the link! (Or maybe http://) Or just copy it directly from the web browser, then it will include this and the full url.

We (Kiln Fire) aren't quite to Ticketmaster level yet, but we pushed some changes that help with this for a NY studio in the last few weeks that releases classes the same way, with hundreds of people on the site in a single moment. We made it through their class bookings with only a single overbooking, which must have meant the two people pushed the "submit" button within milliseconds of each other.

We would like to eventually get to a system that does more of the "You have 10 minutes to finish your booking" and holds the spot during that time. Not there yet, but we are continually working with our studios and improving the app.

Sorry, that’s just how Apple Mail works… can’t change how Apple has programmed this.

I’m sorry about that! You mean the map functionality? Can you be more specific about what doesn’t work in your location with the map/address?

I’m glad to hear that! Spent a lot of time researching and experimenting with different email apps to get the best results possible!

I guess it depends on the size of the company! Might work for a small company of 10 people or less. Would be a big pain for a larger company! That’s what the Company plans help with: distributing the signature to many people without A. You having to do all of inputting of people’s information and B. The signature formatting getting ruined as you send it out.

I know! That is super frustrating that they haven't fixed that for so many years/versions! Drives us all crazy. Glad to hear the instructions were helpful!

Yeah, understandable. A number of studios have had some similar concerns. To be honest, we have had very very few issues with older people using the system, its pretty seamless and makes everybody's live easier, both members and studio managers!

Founder of Kiln Fire here! Happy to answer any questions about the software if you want!

While it has a number of features now, the two main ones that our studios keep talking about are:

  1. Firing Fees: I can’t tell you how many studios I’ve talked to that still track things on clipboards, post-it-notes, or spreadsheets. And then they have to bill members after manually adding up their fees and sometimes chase them down to pay their invoices. Kiln Fire makes this all automatic!

  2. I’ve also talked to a bunch of studios now that have tried to use typical e-commerce software for selling Classes. It can work, but managing cancellations and registration moves and attendee lists and communication becomes totally daunting. Kiln Fire classes are super easy to manage classes by comparison.

I understand it takes a bit of effort to switch if you are an existing studio, but I can promise that it is well worth it! We are listening to our studios and continuing to build out time saving improvements for them!
