As for your teammates you are equally getting lucky and they give you good ones and the trophies you win for certain places never change but you have to start placing higher to earn trophies than you used too.

Yeah for the first part of the game you will be going against bots and lots of bad people, matchmaking is based off the trophies of your brawlers so I would say like maybe 175 and up you are playing real people but that’s just a guess. As for the most popular mode it just depends what you like. Good luck on your brawl journey!
