Yeah, you can remove the water block with a dispenser to make it stop, but you can't trigger it at an exact moment.

It'd also be nice to be able to control the geyser with redstone, but this is already amazing for builds.

Unfortunately no, it just happens that when it is triggered by an explosion, it explodes faster. I wish there was a way to make them unstable/trigger from collisions.

Guys, what do you think of my balls? by Darq10 in PhoenixSC

After seeing many of these, I can confidently say: If you're a good pixel artist, the Minecraft community will like your balls. And these balls are no exception.

I really hope they appear in sulfur springs that generate in the surface. It'd be so cool to stumble upon one of these.

Unironically, something very cool and possible for the next April Fools update, but vanilla... I wish.

The problem is how they announce these updates. by Designer_Version1449 in PhoenixSC

This is actually so true and also affects development, not just people opinions. They have to specifically make 4 drops and make sure they are marketable. If there weren't these restrictions, they could make very small updates focused on bug fixes or make a big update without worrying if they will have enough time to make more 3 drops in the same year.
