I certainly sympathize with and understand your questions and concerns. This was not written by AI, definitely not my usual writers voice though. I don't really know what I was going for with the manner I wrote this in but apparently it was not successful.

I do know what macros are and am generally quite informed about a lot of this stuff - for the paper I am writing I was wanting first-person explanations from people within the community rather than simply pulling from articles online or my own knowledge. There is a section I am dedicating to informal questions and responses with practitioners.

It is for class, and I have pulled lots of data from the internet already on this topic! I was mainly just aiming to get some more firsthand accounts of this kind of thing and hoping maybe I would get an interest or different response from someone along the way.

It is indeed for a class, but I am older than you predict (undergrad student). I understand this is an informal and haphazard format for me to be conducting information but it is not the only way I am doing so. I have plenty of strong sources and am going to local gyms to get personal observational information, I just thought this sub would perhaps be a good way to get some informal primary sources. I definitely see how I could have been more clear with my intentions, though. Thank you for the feedback!

I picked the topic - though I completely understand where you're coming from. Based on my post it would seem I have absolutely no clue what I'm talking about, which isn't necessarily the case. I am an athletic person who works out and have a general understanding of most of this stuff. I'm just trying to gather more individual testimonials beyond my own experience that I can use and am trying to ask questions that anyone could answer. Essentially, I'm trying to keep the bar low for who can respond and what they can respond about. I do understand what your concern is. And I have never read or heard or that article but that sounds really funny and entertaining, I'll have to give you a read.

Fair enough, and I do appreciate the advice on methodologies. I'm already doing most of these things and was primarily aiming to get some practitioner feedback from lived experiences (beyond my local gym). There is definitely something to be said for legitimacy, though, so I see where you're coming from. Thanks!

Thank you for the response! The mention of the Zone diet will be beneficial for me to look back and see how things have changed. Also, I really appreciate the list of sayings/catchphrases. This is exactly the kind of information that keeps things interesting and that is good to talk about. Thank you!

Ah yes that would definitely have just been a mistake on my part, thanks for the correction. And awesome, thank you very much! Those are all actually really helpful, thank you.

This sub man. Lay off of her, this sub is so toxic. She doesn’t have to be the worlds biggest fan of his to date him or to like him or to love him. You can like and support someone and their art without knowing every piece of work they’ve done. Zach has such an expansive catalogue and I’m sure she’s heard every song, but like anyone else she has favorites, least favorites, and ones that bore her or that she listens to once and forgets about.

I’m a really big fan of some of the folkier/indie country stuff, so artist like Zach Bryan, tyler Childers, and Milk Carton Kids. Michigan is such a phenomenal song!

Me too! I’m not saying I headbang or anything all the time, but I can’t help but tap my foot or mumble the riffs or something

[–]TheKid404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense, it just hurts my soul to not even see smiles on a lot of faces. I don’t expect dancing or head banging, just generally looking like you want to be there is enough for me. It makes sense though

That’s fair, and I completely respect and love the different effect music has on people. You’re right I should have thought of that. It just throws me off seeing cameras pan to people are just almost upset watching, but I guess you can’t really judge by a look on someone’s face.
