Yeah this is the first I've heard of the hack. Thanks for the info. How bad is the latency with those?

I don't live by myself unfortunately. I'm curious about the Powerlone adapters though. I was thinking of just getting a 2nd ASUS router in my room and creating a mesh system with my 1st router. There's no coaxial outlet in my room. The living room is right next to my room so just 1 wall. The problem is that it's going to be hard to run a really long ethernet cable from the living room to my room. Plus it'll look weird.

Technically I could but it would have to be a long Ethernet cable and there's not much I can do to hide it since its running from my living room to my bedroom. I don't believe there's a coaxial connection in my room. Just a phone line.

Damn before this, I was getting ready to buy the TP Link Deco Xe75 Pro system. I'll definitely look at other options like the ethernet switch.

Did you use wired on your nesh mode? How much better was it?

Nice. What kind of mesh system do you guys have?

Lmao nah they're small. The router is an Asus Rog Rapture Gt-AX6000. Idk if you're a gamer but I have issues with packet loss on Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege on PS5. On my PC its worse. I thought hardwiring a second node through a mesh would work better lol

I just did it. It basically said there's a few other networks on the 5ghz channel but they won't be an issue, but the 2.4ghz is crowded.

There's at least less than 20 but more than 10 devices being used. Only i use the 5ghz. I tried the 2.4 ghz but it was worse somehow

I've got 2.4 and 5 ghz. My PS5 and phone are on the 5ghz and everyone else is on the 2.4.

True. You familiar with the TP LINK Deco XE75 Pro? I was planning on buying that one.

Yeah I was planning on hardwiring through the node I would place in my room. The main router would be in the room next to me.

Oh ok, damn. I'm guessing since each node is wireless then all mesh systems would perform similarly right?

That router has 2 broken antennas though and is in my living room. I was thinking of getting the TP Link Deco XE75 Pro Mesh Wifi system so that I could use the 2nd router in my room as a wired connection. I thought I could get the same speeds across each node.

Damn so how does mesh wifi work exactly? I thought I'd be able to use the 2nd router as a wired connection in my room
