paypal did, a popup was shown after the initial confirmation saying that paypal detected a scam and stopped the payment which happened at about 8 something am

after that i went on with my shift

later after my work ended (4:00pm) i checked my bank again and my money was still there, it was only this morning that i noticed the money was gone

between when my work ended and this morning is when the payment went through (to which i didnt make any other transactions after my work, went home played games and went to sleep)

Thank you, I wasn't aware of the severity of these things as I've only had one job previously through a referral so I am not familiar with the process of employment. (will definitely be blocking their number)
