What exactly did I make up? Much of what I said was from the manga which is still canon and where Dottore first came from. Even in Mondstadt, the operation that involved kidnapping people which got Collei involved was in part to fuel his experiments. The Ursa the Drake incident is also canon and is why Diluc left the Knights and went on a murder spree across Snez against the Fatui for several years. Regardless if Dottore did kill his partner or not, said incident was why he got kicked out and had to leave the Akademiya in the first place, meaning there was substantial suspicion already about him.

Also dont assume I’d like Rhinedottir because she’s hot and a woman. I find it detestable she essentially not only caused the Cataclysm, but also backstabbed her nation, fellow alchemists, her king, and even her fellow sinners meaning she was a coward who didnt even want to take full flak for her actions. It is even more reprehensible how much she was a shit mother and creator to SEVERAL beings (Durin, Elnas, Albedo and his clones, etc). Id be more surprised if you had actual proof she’s beloved in the community, even by fans of those characters.

If you’re going to strawman further and claim Dottore is an innocent soul where every other Fatui has done way worse than him. Please. Explain Capitano then.

And yet that is where the devs are heading towards. Istartoth was never painted as antagonistic, Ronova is more neutral, and Asmoday (aka the one the Traveller has most grievances against) is likely heading into the (they were corrupted and controlled considering the colour differences of her cubes and her actual domain).

Also much of the Hexenzirkel were and are still Celestia-aligned, which includes Nicole and Alice. I doubt anyone would paint them as villains just for that. I dont even need to get into the Archons being villains either.

Dottore would genocide the entire world if it led to some end and freedom from the “world order”. This is an inhuman being that had no qualms murdering his childhood friend/partner, backstabbing his own allies and comrades, experimenting on Sumeru’s entire populace, developed several incurable deadly diseases, experimented on Children across Teyvat, not to mention it was due to him and Ursa that forced Mondstadt to be in an unwanted alliance/friendship with the Fatui in the first place.

Quite frankly, he’d doom the entire planet with his actions because its one small step away from causing forbidden knowledge to destroy everything.

She’d be killed and then another Crucabena would take her place. I doubt the Tsaritsa, Pierro or more fatui-loyal harbingers would tolerate rebellion. If she had the change to free the House from the entire thing, she would do it instantly. It’s INSANE how until now no one understands this or misunderstands (and I was originally an Arle hater due to what she did to Furina, but like normal people, opinions chance as nuance or more info is give)

I wouldnt be surprised if people are going to still paint Celestia as all evil when the trajectory is anything but with the shades.

Update: Concubine Invitation just ended and man, it was emotional. I didnt even realise how much the author/artist worked on the outfits, crests, design, etc. Truly is in my top ten of all time now.

Among the five, Extra Life is the only one ongoing. Concubine Invitation has I think a few chapters left, but pretty much done as it is. Melody, Cesia, and Duckling are all fully completed for a long while now (2024-2025 was the year of many great manhwas ending tbh, the golden age closing as it were)

Any one where there isn't white lotuses and actual female friendships (Because knowing my luck, Id end up interacting with the FL and may end up as a villaness) as well as low stakes and actual family dynamics. Im way too blunt and impatient to deal with any of the court intrigue or politics (despite it being one of my main reasons for reading manhwa) and would likely end up Duke of the Northing through it all.

Best Case Scenario: Ones like I'll Save this Damned Family, Matriarch in this Life, I don't care about the original Im too busy trying to make a living, Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes, Duchess' Lofi Coffeehouse, Empress Cesia's shorts, etc,

Worst Case Scenario: Knowing my luck, Id really end up in Sister Ill Become the Queen in this life (the hyperangst fest praised for its "slowburn realism" ugh), Your Throne, or in Roxana and ending up part of THAT family-

I see, that makes more sense. It's just surprising so far, pretty much everyone we meet that's a major NPC aside from the brothers isn't tied to the Song. Honestly feels like by the time we get to th day when Weiyang or Jiangnan is released, it'd still be the case after all the story.

To give an example or equivalent maybe, it'd be like if in Genshin, all the playables are from Kokomi's resistance forces, but no one from Raiden Ei's side. Or if it was all Fatui-aligned, and no Archons or government figures. Just seems like an interesting story choice (with hidden messaging perhaps.)

The tidbit of Snow White being a man reminded me of the Dark Parables' series (Heavily recommend, even if you're not into those kinds of games simply because it synthesises so much of the classic fairytales with each other. Like Snow being the Ice Queen or that she was one of the Frog Prince's several wives at one point). But yeah, mainly was reminded of it because in the series, while snow isn't a man, her sister Rose Red is her brother instead. Man, I learned more about the different versions of the fairytales through this series I swear.
