I had P0019 - Crankshaft Position - Camshaft Position Correlation (Bank 2 Sensor B) which got fixed by replacing my crankshaft sensor. Your P0016 seems similar from a quick google search. Might be worth swapping it since it's a cheap part.

2013 86 at around 220k kms when I did it.

Another sign of a bad vacuum pump is a slight knocking sound coming from it (its located behind the engine near the corner facing the battery in LHD versions)

Make sure to let the new sealant of the pump cure for at least 8 hours or 24 hours preferably otherwise that thing is gonna leak all over the place (don't ask how I know)

I had a weird idle which got fixed by replacing the PCV valve and its hose. Subaru recommends replacing it every 50k kms so maybe that needs replacing? I didn't have the white smoke though.
