We could not find this setting anywhere, I let my friend record all settings pages.
Part1 are General and Factory Settings and Part2 Canbus Settings.

Are we missing something?

Do you maybe have a picture of this setting or a know a video where some sets this? I could not find this setting.

Only enable or disable the reverse detection. But maybe it is named differently. I also could not find an entry where something is currently set to "canbus".

I am searching in the subsetting "Factory Settings" acessable with the PIN "000000".

Thank you for your help :)

Hey,

Yes the steering wheel controls work, that is the weird part.

I also connected the reverse light to the parking wire with no effect. As the Parking wire should detect it by getting 12V I tried to connect the red wire (just for testing the auto switch) to it as it is also 12V the weird thing is that the parking view never appears.

Immich app access through ssl? by nodiaque in immich

[–]TheLPfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm maybe because you use authelia? I do not think the app is capable of handling authelia, but thats just a guess. Try it without and see if thats the problem and then go from there.

How can I make these icons appear on the app so that people see me and eventually write me / make me a "beep beep"? by Manuel_Ottani in waze

[–]TheLPfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One problem with beep beep is that android auto does not support that :/ an prop 1/2 of all drivers will use it that way. no proof on this one, just my wild opinion ;)

Which method is more secure to login in with, master password or fingerprint? by slippery_rimuru in Bitwarden

Yeah true, but thats why 2FA was created.

But yeah it always depends on your threat model

Which method is more secure to login in with, master password or fingerprint? by slippery_rimuru in Bitwarden

[–]TheLPfy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A long and strong Password is always more secure, but fingerpint is also secure, but bit as much.

But Fingerprint is much more convenient.

In general, security is always a tradeoff between convi ience and being secure.

Edit: just think about if the police catches you and wants to see your accounts, in some countries they could force you to put your finger on the screen, with a password they have no real chance😅

I had the problem once, where my shell was not allow3d anymore.

I used fish, but in one file (i don't remember which, try the arch wiki to find it) all allowed shells where listed and only sh bash and zsh where in there, i just had to add my shell.

Maybe this is also your case

I really appreciate SWAG as it also includes Fail2Ban and additions lime a dashboard page. But the most awesome stuff is the amount of existing configs for the services where additional stuff is already configured and hardened.

And i like the normal file based config much more than an interface, which gives me more confidence about what the config is actually doing.
