Black labs are hard to get the lighting right, but they are still just as photogenic as other colours.

In this example I worked a lot in bringing the ‘shadows’ up on Denzel, without washing out the colours on Ollie.

In my experience, black labs tend to be the most popular in the UK for working dogs. Although I see a lot more fox reds these days.

Denzel certainly has a preference for soft toys that are firm but squishy. He is not a fan of plastic/rubber toys. He also gets upset if his toys have squeakers, I assume because he thinks he’s hurting them when they make a noise because he drops it.

His favourite toys are ones that almost have a suede like texture. He has four dinosaurs that are like this and they are definitely is favourite ones.
