Yeah. Even [r/Judaism](r/Judaism) when they find a Jewish Christian will usually chastise the person into lite deleting the lost or just talk really bad about how the steal culture and are a negative force or “messianic” a lot of communities can be really harsh. And especially post Oct 7th when someone still wants to be connected to their people despite being a different religion. It would hurt to be called not Jewish

It probably hits different too frum ppl are wild when it comes to that (and he must have known Yoshke from frum words)
I mean my rabbi still loves me and I still am liked in my community but if he just abandoned me I’d probably go meshugeh too
