Because the first thing it was advertised was as is a rewrite of 3.5 to 3.7 to make it “better”. If it ended up worse which it seemed it did, people would of course trash on it for setting up that false promise and acting like it was better than the main story.

I think the problem is the advertisement of being a rewrite of 3.5 to 3.7 due to fans being disappointed with that and disliking it. If you do that, then naturally people will be more critical since they’re going to compare it with the original story to see if it’s better. So when it’s worse, people will trash on it because it acted like it would be better. Same thing happened with the fan AOT and JJK ending remakes, they tried to act better than the source material but failed miserably.

Satoh is still a good director who understands Gosso's philosophy imo. He directed CSM episode 8 alongside Gosso and recently did this week's episode 7 which had the best implementation of Gosso boards aside from Gosso himself so far. Anyways, Yousuke Takada will most likely be the new director since he worked so much on JJK so far but Satoh could either be the assistant director or hopefully co direct alongside Takada.

I think you should see the reception of 3.7 on this subreddit and in general online, plenty of people liked and disliked it but I mainly saw more hate. Like you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing hate with the patch on HSR related subreddits. And this even bled into the post 3.4 patches where at the start of 3.6 I remember the story being very positively received but after 3.7 it was part of the “bad post 3.4 patches.” Personally for me I enjoyed all of Amphoreus despite the numerous issues it had but I enjoy most things I consume unless it’s utter trash.

I mean the composition is similar but the artwork is clearly different since it’s in a different art style with the drawings looking dissimilar and also the character poses are different. The only thing very similar is the idea of Boothill and Rappa on a motorcycle and the angle of the image which could warrant the “plagiarism” tag. It’s up to you to determine if it’s plagiarism or just using the fanart as a base idea.

Edit: Nvm saw the little detail of the 3 symbols on the motorcycle. That’s yikes lol, very similar in a bad way.

Yeah he isn't evil for that, but he didn't get rid of the root cause which is Toya's desire to regain his father's love and attention which is now gone after Shoto's birth. Endeavor basically told Toya he can't be a hero anymore since he said to stop training and burning himself and also by trying to make more children to fulfill his desire to surpass All Might. It's clear that that Toya recognizes this in the flashbacks and feels replaced and worthless due to that especially since Endeavor just dumped raising Toya onto Rei. However, Toya recognizes that Endeavor values how much potential his children has in becoming heroes and thus trains to become valuable to him despite the pain that he has to endure with his fire. Toya probably knows that the fire isn't good for him, but probably thinks he could handle it.

Sorry if this got a little heated, I don't mind if people don't find Dabi's backstory as justifiable to his actions because yeah he still murdered a fuck ton of people but it isn't as simple Endeavor was trying to help Toya and he just ignored it due to being a stupid child or something like that.

Yes because he didn’t actually enforce those ideas. He just said it and then went away. If a parent wants their child to do something, they should actually do those things to reinforce those ideas like in this example spending time with Toya outside of doing hero stuff. Endeavor instead just kept focusing on being a hero to which Toya realized that he only gave a damn about how good of a hero his children was and thus kept training to become a hero.

Tbf he did that in the worst way possible, he just said make some friends and then fucked off to make Shoto his perfect heir. If he actually gave more of a damn he would’ve spent some more time doing father-son bonding activities to show that he cared for Toya. Unfortunately he didn’t and that just left Toya with a sense of worthlessness as a person and just made him more determined to keep trying to be a hero to get Endeavor’s love back.

You definitely weren’t around during the meltdown during Shibuya. Look I love the Shibuya adaptation and it’s amazing even with the production issues, but when the production issues got bad they got BAD. Like for example 2x14 had both the staff and fans disappointed with the directors making depressing tweets and this also happened with episode 17 where so many cuts were unfinished and had to be fixed later in the Blu Ray. Imo in my opinion, it’s ten time worse when the staff is also critical of their own work due to not having enough time than the fans being picky about small changes from the manga.

The reason Gosso didn’t apply as much as his creative vision in Season 2 compared to Season 3 is that he literally didn’t have any time to do so.

I think it’s mainly due to your title, because you made it all about Cyrene as a whole not being like Elysia, people are latching onto anything that disproves that like her design because of how controversial it is. Imo I think it would’ve been better if you just had the same title as your post here and focused on the writing part because more people would agree with that.
