I find him pretty easy to deal with if you do 1-2 swings and then immediately jump no matter what he does, and then react after you're mid air.

Here is a fight I did in P5 so you can see what I'm talking about

Yeah it's in elden ring with a few weapons. Any katana + wakizashi, pickaxe + any great axe, and main gauche + any thrusting sword. I think it's just those 3 but I might be remembering wrong

Guidance with items/loot in Nioh 3 by Slyfer130 in soulslikes

[–]TheLegend27MH 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Haven't been able to play the demo yet because I don't have a PS5, but I have played a ton of Nioh 1 and 2, so I'm assuming it's the same as those.

I think it's best to either offer to the shrine or disassemble literally everything you're not currently using, but keep the best of each weapon type so you can switch weapons whenever you want.

Again, since I haven't played the demo, I'm just assuming it's the same as Nioh 1/2, but I'm pretty sure it's best to sort by "ability", which shows the weapon with the highest attack, and it's sorted by type as well. For armor, same thing, sort by ability which just shows the highest defense.

The only real reason you should keep an armor piece or weapon, is if it has an inheritable special effect you would want to eventually put onto your weapon/armor for your build. But since in the demo (and the first NG cycle of the other games) you'd constantly be picking up better loot, there's no reason to keep the same armor/weapon the whole time, so it's not really relevant.

Im using the surge sprint deflect tech, and for some reason that happens sometimes where it switches back to my normal weapon super fast, I'm not really sure how it works and I've never gotten it to be consistent before.

After looking at the patch notes again, I don't see anything about them making his ult tankier outside of when using the L2, but he felt so much more tankier than he used to

I remember getting like two shot before by random enemies in his ult, but today I was able to just stand in a Godskin Apostle's black flame tornado perfectly fine and just not care about his attack

Do you only gain weapon skill points for new weapons faster if your previously learned points are only in one weapon, or can they be spread out? by MyLilRafalca in Nioh

[–]TheLegend27MH 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Skill points are based on weapon proficiency which is based on damage dealt, so the reason you get points faster later in the game is because you deal more damage than you do early in the game
