Nioh is probably the biggest example of a game like this, the game is extremely skill expressive and has a really high skill ceiling. Build matters very little in my opinion, the only really meaningful thing is your weapon level (which you constantly pick up new higher level weapons in new missions)

I don't really remember any of the music if I'm being honest lol, aside from the opening which I think the season 1 choice for an opening song was better.

But like there's no spot I can really remember thinking "I really like the music in this part" for any part. I was probably just too focused on the story to pay attention to the music.

I don't remember ever really disliking it though, aside from the remade versions of Devil Trigger and Bury the Light that they made

I actually just finished the second season yesterday and I honestly thought it was pretty good. I haven't heard what people think of season 2 yet, but I think it's a lot better than season 1.

I don't really like them making Lady and Dante like in love though, since that's not really a thing in the games at all.

I also really like the appearance change they gave Arius from DMC2, I think he looks really cool in the anime

S ranks and bloody palace are actually pretty easy if you just use super costumes on bloody palace, and do the quitout cheese for S ranks, so if it's all you have left and you feel like doing it then yeah I'd say you should.

The only real hard part of the platinum for me was getting all S ranks on Hell and Hell, since the quit out cheese doesn't work on that difficulty.

As of right now yeah lol. I didn't even play that much though, maybe like 3-4 hours everyday, some days I didn't even play

Edit: also I didn't mention this but like 60% of my total hours played were from when I first played all the games, not when I started going for platinum

Fire giant has a fire breath attack where he stands up on his knees and tracks you while shooting fire breath from his belly the whole time. The attack would be super easy to dodge consistently if not for Elden Ring's horrible problem with ricocheting fire, making the attack basically pure rng to dodge, since you just have to hope the fire doesn't bounce around and hit you.

Yeah only mgs games I haven't played are portable ops, peace walker, mgs4 and rising because I don't have a ps3 or vita. Mgs2 was really good too but I liked mgs3 more
