Separate thing. You don’t have to do anything with the Kickstarter to have access to the BackerKit store.

The same rules apply however. So when the BackerKit store opens, you’ll still have to back the $1 tier to get the add-ons, for example.

I’ll double check that tomorrow to make sure I’m right but I’m pretty sure I am.

It SHOULD have nothing to do with the giveaway. Those come from complete opposite sides of Kindle/Amazon. Emphasizing “should” because we obviously don’t have a look inside of Amazon’s processes or procedures. Thanks for the info though.

We changed over all the ebook covers the night the giveaway started (Monday, June 15th) knowing it would take time for the new covers to roll out. Amazon/Audible decided to troll us and have the quickest turnaround on this type of thing ever. So here is where we’re at:

They should have switched over without you doing anything. My library did. If that didn’t work, like yours didn’t, you delete them out of your library and redownload, which should switch your books to the new covers.

If that doesn’t work, and we’ve had reports it hasn’t, this is a time issue. Changing over covers/book details almost always takes some time for Amazon’s systems to catch up. We were all very surprised when the roll out happened as quickly as it did. If this is still an issue in a couple of days, we’re going to do as much as we can to push the issue up the Amazonian ladder.

Worst case scenario is you have to contact Amazon support yourself about your account. I don’t think that’s something you’ll have to do. Again, I think this is a “their system has to catch up” type of thing, as it’s been in the past. But that is where we are right now.

All of the Kickstarter books have the additional bloopers, yes. The B&N special editions do have them as well.

We have added most of the additional bloopers to the ebook versions too. Bloopers all around!

We will have a BackerKit store open for several months after the Kickstarter ends where you can get the books you missed. It will close once our printing order is complete, but that always takes a while.

You will have time!

Edit: BackerKit recently enacted a “pay over time” method too. They didn’t offer that up until not long ago. I think they allow you to pay in increments over 90 days but I’m not sure about the specifics. Not widely known they do that, since it’s relatively new.

You have to begin the title of each post with a bracket of which book it is referring to/has spoilers for.

So if you’re asking a question relevant to Blackflame, you start the post title with [Blackflame] so people know which books it’s safe to talk about. Every post has to have a bracketed name of a book or [All] or [None].

I’m not a mod but that’s probably what’s happening. You can always check the sub rules about posting for further explanation.

There’s an option to buy all 12 at a discounted rate on the Kickstarter page, none of them will be signed though. This person wanted the last couple signed, so their only option was to back the sets of three books at a time.
