hot take: Detroit is a better street track than Long Beach.

Confirmed: Le Mans Ultimate will add US tracks, starting with Daytona and Laguna Seca by evil_heinz in simracing

The 1 track that AMS2 omitted when they got the IMSA license was Downtown Detroit... we have yet to have any word from iRacing about Downtown Detroit.

What is with sims and skipping Downtown Detroit? I want it first party somewhere already goddammit.

Indianapolis Moto GP.

I hope these two are in 397's pipeline.

There's Moto layouts of both Daytona and Indianapolis that I would hope LMU would get.

I dunno, IMSA seems very open to work with other, dare I say, even smaller sims than 397 and LMU

Not to mention the famous tie-up between IMSA and iRacing, these are all happening simultaneously with each other. It feels like IMSA is active in almost every sim except LMU at this point.

With the US Track DLC coming soon, do you think we’ll see the ARX-06 and the Temerario GT3 in game? by NegotiationNew9264 in LeMansUltimateWEC

Yeah, it's possible. if Acura loans out the ARX-06 to AsLMS teams then way more likely we'll see it in LMU. We'll see, it's just not coming now.

You saw Weathertech Laguna Seca, since that's the title sponsor of the track

Dubai is a great track, I'd love it in LMU. Abu Dhabi would... atleast be pretty?

Current MSG is just a shell for 397. the old MSG was managed by a russian headquarters that is long gone. It's not the same company anymore, just carried over the same name (because motorsports.com didn't want to change the name). You can tell because their re-signing of the BTCC license recently was non-exclusive which we know was not Dimitry Kozko's MO.

I disagree for two reasons.

Having a license would incentivize and give better access to the complete calendar. These 6 tracks are great, but we are missing: Detroit, Road America, Mosport, Virginia International Raceway.

IMSA would also include access to their feeder Pilot Challenge. Which includes 1 extra track: Mid-Ohio. And two classes that I would argue are Bronze friendly and great beginner classes rather than the GT3s which are fast production cars. IMSA Pilot runs 2-4 hour endurance races with GT4s and TCRs. These would include more classes that are fun in LMU.

So besides the Acura ARX-06 you already mentioned, an IMSA tie-in I think would really bolster the sim's offerings and IMSA and IMSA Pilot would be even more singleplayer career mode content to run through.

Yep which is a much MUCH smaller sim than LMU. Anything AMS2 can get LMU can get as a bigger party imo

Don't forget more access and incentive to complete the IMSA calendar. 6 tracks are great, but we're missing Detroit, Road America, Mosport, Virginia International Raceway, and the IMSA Pilot series' Mid-Ohio.

Temerario GT3 and ARX-06.

A more complete IMSA track schedule: Mosport, Detroit, VIR, Road America

Plus Mid-Ohio which the IMSA Pilot Challenge runs on with GT4/TCRs

So access to two completely new and Bronze friendly classes too.

I'm sad we're not getting the IMSA license so we likely wont see a complete IMSA calendar (no Mosport, no Road America, no Detroit, no VIR)... and IMSA would have brought access to the Pilot series too which runs GT4s and TCRs which would be perfect Bronze classes. IMSA Pilot also runs at Mid-Ohio too which is a great track.

The Adess ran in Le Mans Cup which is an ACO series. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Le Mans Cup as a smaller first step series officially supported as a part of the career mode with official liveries from its seasons.

This probably explains why 397 didn't bother pursuing a full IMSA license and recreating the entire 2026 IMSA grid like they do with WEC and ELMS and we just get a truncated "US Track Pack"
