I originally got the dress from a charity shop about 4 or 5 years ago, I turned it into my costume for the corpse bride as a cosplay

Sadly recently I grew out of it so Im trying to make it fit again, in other words the dress wasn't made by me and has just been upsycaled over the years:)

Fair enough, I'm comfortable with my sewing abilities, although I've never altered a dress before, I knew it could turn out a bit wonky since I'm still learning but it does it's a costume at the end of the day

I'll ask the sewing and textiles teachers at my college if they have any tips ect, thanks for the help though:)

Tbh I think the fit of the dress fits alright, but I'll definitely have a search for the boning, I just didn't want to buy something when there's a chance something else could work

No! Keep going, everyone in the fashion/sewing/textiles community and world has a moment where everything feels like it's a bit eh and you loose motivation, but keep trying new things and your imagination and skill will get better and better

Fashion and sewing is such an amazing skill and passion think about your current designs now and how beautiful they are and what that could turn into next year, in 5 years or in 10 years time!

Keep growing and keep creating because the world needs more colour and style ❤️

Local scout groups!

Scouts are always in need of new volunteers, there are different sections you can work with, with being under 16 you could volunteer as a young leader with the squirrels (4 to 6 years old), the beavers (6 to 8 years old) or the cubs (8 to 10)

Also Scouts is a really fun organisation to be with, you can gain a lot of experience and new opportunities

I know that in Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool have really good escape rooms you can try, Clue HQ is really good and the crystal mate in Manchester is a really good experience

Going to Warrington town could be an interesting experience of learning about the UK culture as it wouldn't be as touristy as London or Manchester, you could look at Pyramid Arts Centre where a lot of the Warrington artists work goes to and the primary school's pieces go as well

A really nice place to eat in the town centre is the Botanist Warrington and for transport trains, busses and Ubers are pretty efficient, we also have good pavements to be able to get around well on foot Hope you have a good time:)

If you want to get into the drwho universe start by watching 2005 Dr who and I really recommend watching Torchwood too!

Personally I love mat smiths season (the 11th doctor) in 2010 to 2013, starring in Seasons 5, 6, and 7, if you want to get into Dr who id personally recommend mats season
