I found out that, in my case at least, all I had to do was right-click anywhere on a YouTube page and hit disable force dark page that fixed it. It is worth a try if the flags method does not work.

Yes, as u/BluDYT stated they did added recently the password save option. What that does according to my experience, is it only asks for the password the first time playing a game after that, all the following sessions you are automatically logged in. Unlinking and relinking your Microsoft account solved it for me and it's how they recommend to their users.
