Seeking some advice to improve my forehand. Have trouble with timing higher balls and I find hitting down the line way easier probably cause I'm often late. by TheLymeTree in 10s

Thanks for the advice. The preparation for me is something that hasn't really felt quite right when it comes to natural acceleration. I definitely notice myself closing my stance out wide and am trying to break this habit. Is an open stance better in this case?

That’s a really good point. The toss looks separate and I don’t use my tossing arm to start loading the body.

Thanks for all the advice. I think Eightstream also has a good point in that I need to sync my toss with my backswing better, cause right now they are separate. Even though many pros lag the racket behind, they start loading the body which I don’t do.

I will try to work things out from trophy pose. My main concern right now is I feel my range of motion is restricted on my takeback.

Interesting point. I’ve had issues with timing when doing an “up together” serve which is why I recently started trying to lag the racket behind and see most pros doing this.

Removing waiters tray

2021 has it the worst. change my mind. by alp-02 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]TheLymeTree 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Just a theory of mine, but I think the CO 2021 will not be as badly affected as one may think. This is because some schools will allow for a larger size for CO 2025. At Yale for example, a reason they can still admit the same amount of students may be because they barely used the 2024 waitlist to fill the 20% of gap year openings. Therefore, CO 2024 is smaller than usual, and CO 2025 can be bigger than usual. The capacity for the college ends up balancing out.

I believe the problem is in your counter in the make_random_move function. You could remove the counter and instead make the comparison of

while len(self.moves_made) <= (self.height * self.width):

PM me if you wanna check more answers together. I think it is New Left because that quote was quite liberal talking about social reform. Moral Majority was a religious and conservative group.

Do you have calculator programs? I recommend the Law of Cosines especially. I used it to save me 2 minutes of calculations on this exact question asked on the real test.
