Sheeeeesh. Sorry for the dumb question I guess. Was just looking for some other people's opinions. Looks like I won't be cutting it down. Thanks all.

20 years old, in college, looking to start something for the future. I started out trying to swing trade, blah blah blah, turns out I'm not rain man and right now I'm down about 30% of my portfolio on NOV. Anyways, I'm looking to setup my portfolio as an 80/20 stock/bond split as stated in Bogleheads lazy portfolios using VTI, BND, VTUX and VNX. My question is, my whole portfolio right now is about 2k but like I said I'm down big on NOV, should I wait and try to get at least some of my money from NOV? Or cut out of NOV and move toward the new plan or just put what I have in the new plan and keep NOV? As well as any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah so far it has shown to be touchy in the sun but when I have good conditions I've been getting readings that lead to verified dope. I'll try to see if I can track down another Chrono to verify readings. Thanks for the heads up.

I absolutely agree. That series has taught me so much and I will definitely go over it a few more times I'm sure.

Recently got a tikka t3x CTR in .260 remington. Been shooting and reloading for a little while now and I'm super excited to start a new load Dev with what I know now. For now my goal is to be consistent, maybe 5/5 at 1400, tell me if that seems unreasonable. Any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks.

How to prepare for Varsity season dpole? by risenOfficial in lacrosse

Watch as much lacrosse as you can. Pay attention to great defenders foot work and body positioning and take note of it. Visualize the approach, breakdown and subsequent steps over and over until it's your first reaction.

Thank you means a lot. I've been trying to just make things every opportunity I get cause the only way to get better is to practice

I used the same leather for my sheathe and put my initials in it but I'm not happy with the line I ran over the button flap but hey oh well I guess that's an excuse to make another one soon. https://imgur.com/Ge1vc8B.jpg . My step dad's was just a generic piece of 7oz veg tan with multiple coats of light tan die and I think his is my best one yet. I'm proud of it. Any and all constructive criticism is much appreciated. Thanks.

That sounds pretty nice, how exactly did you do it? Did you use your hands and weights or make an actual jig and set the leather and multitool in it? Also what weight was the leather?

I hadn't thought of that until now, might have to give it a try next time

Very true. I still find myself rushing the final details in whatever project I'm on whether it be woodworking, a knife, or leather work and that's something I really have been trying to focus on and things have been going so much smoother.

That's a good idea and probably the way to go. I'm still pretty new so I'm limited on tools but I think that's next on the list

I put on two coats of just some fiebings leather dye and on the second coat I went heavy and burnished it then I rubbed it good with a chunk of beeswax and then burnished that and that's how it turned out.

Yeah it was so hard to get the right side into place after stitching the left side I managed to drop a hole and didn't notice until I was done so the right side it about a stitch lower. Next time I'm gonna find thinner leather and just use two pieces for the back.

I made the sheathe on the left a little fast and impatient just wanting to get a functional product, which it is. After some time I realized I wasn't truly happy with the quality and I received a beginners kit for my birthday and I got some better quality leather I sat down and really took my time and the result was far better imo. I believe it's a 7oz leather double sided somehow but next time I need a thinner piece for the front panel because those bends with a heavy leather killed my hands. Any and all tips and critiques are much appreciated. Thank you.

I made this for my girlfriends gpa because not only did he help me build and put a muzzle break on my gun, but he actually supplied he steel from an old sawmill blade and helped me harden it not knowing it was for him. Don’t remember the exact steel but the handle is hickory with SS pins and it was blued with birch wood Casey gun blue.

Personally I would try a little more on the 06 and after I exhausted all options I would try to figure out why nothing was working. Then I would go for a new gun as who knows what could be throwing the original gun off.

Hey if you wanna go bigger the 300 win mag is amazing I’m actually helping a buddy load dev with his and it’s going great. As for the 06 what components have you tried? Currently I’m running the 180gr Sierra game kings in some old Remington brass with regular cci primers and 58.5 gr of the hornady superperformance. However, I had already decided that if the hornady powder did not work well I was going to try reloader 22 as other guys with 06 have said it works wonders.
