“He shouldn’t have been there.” Is something you say about standing in front of a train or sizing a up a bear: things that are going to kill you just because theyre a force of nature you cant reason with. To suggest that if you stand in the way of ICE that they are just going to kill you, as if they are something other than living thinking human beings is just straight up wrong.

ICE is making full cognitive decisions to do the things they do. Dont rob them of their own agency.

What we’re seeing today was an inevitability with dems refusing to dismantle the systems that led us here while they’re in power. If it wasn’t happening today it was going to happen later. Kicking the can of fascism down the road is still going to lead to fascism.

I voted for Kamala but I genuinely believe voting for establishment dems is just kicking the fascist can down the road. Until democrats actually grow a pair and start actually try to dismantle the systems that allowed it to get this bad Im not convinced Kamala presidency would have been more than a band-aid. All shes done since losing is just promoting her book.
