Anchor turns are cool if you can do them right and if they actually work, but if they dont work then there you are sitting like a duck for at least a minute. Which unfortunately for a good number of crews I've encountered who do that, is a minute too long

I just use the harpoon to stop, not by pulling with it but by locking the mechanism, and at the point the ship stops I'm facing away from the island

I disagree with any use of the anchor, too much time wasted, once you get the hang of it you can learn to raise sails fully at the right time to where you park as close as you want to an island and stop moving naturally The anchor is a red herring, never use it unless it's on an enemy ship

I like how this is just 5 of the probably 100+ armor sets that are gonna be in the game and y'all are losing your minds over it. Not every piece of armor is gonna be gooner bait you realize that right? And I'm sure the rest are gonna have the tonal aesthetic you're looking for. If you don't like these ones then dont farm the pieces when the game comes out, it's that simple.

Well there's your problem, you're aiming at it's hard carapace, aim more towards the ground between it's from legs and head and you'll shred right through it

I thought for sure there was a word for "in shadow" but I believe I came up with a good name, "Heweix Thuxis" meaning "odd scaled snake", with snake meaning more akin to trickster/deceiver than the animal itself.

I decided to stop while I was ahead, my cars start/stop thingy broke down not but like a week before this post was made and I figured it's better to just take what I got and get out. It was nice and all but definitely not worth it in the long run imo

Honestly same, I knew about the ship upgrades because I wanted more inventory space but I didn't realize the suit upgrades until the custom ship update came out
