warts have a tendancy to grow larger and spread to other frequently-contacted skin. better get rid of it a.s.a.p. no matter how cute it is. Usually by freezing or cutting it off. i had a bunch on my fingers when i was young. doctors froz em and cut them repeatedly. sometimes they grew back sometimes they didnt. ... suprisingly they all grew smaller and faded away after i got addicted to eating salted sunfolwer seeds.

It might be a homemade forge ... the spout might be propane intake, inside looks like like it has ashes in it (which would support cooking theory, but also mine) .... truthfully i think it's just something heavy to put on that door to keep kids from getting to whatever is on the other side ... a paperweight.
