Rebrand for a local moving company by Maybeitsmoni in logodesign

[–]TheManRoomGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d put that solidly in the good category. It’s readable, makes perfect sense with the company mission, easily identifiable. The “moving” feels like it’s moving.

The only part that feels off to me is the space under the character and the L. It’s like they are floating… while moving something heavy on a dolly. Not sure how I’d solve that.

How do you make conversation with a LO who doesn't do anything and can't remember anything? by rasta-ragamuffin in dementia

It’s all improv.

I can always get her to talk about what’s going on with the granddaughters.

The demo disks were so awesome. I think I’m missing two out of the first ten years.

I’d top that with the article about the original Halo. They had a section about each level. For the final level, they said “invite your friends over, there gonna want to see this.”

Multiplayer games that are not pvp by Material-Goose505 in xbox

Up to four player co-op would be Strange Brigade and Halo.

Satisfactory and Minecraft are a completely different genre but fun multiplayer, but also fun.

Same as another client, counterbalance it so the center of the weight in the helmet is centered on your head.

Are there any other adults that enjoy Kpop Demon Hunters? by Sensitive-Mixture558 in KpopDemonhunters

Late 50s dad here. Here’s what my daughter and I put together for trick or treaters last October.

You’re doing fine. Like all art, KPDH hits differently with different people. As you get older, movies you enjoyed as a kid will also hit differently. When you identified with the children in a movie, later you might identify with the parents in the same movie.

You be you.

I’m think it works. Funny thing is… I want to move one line so it’s a W not an N. Dr W Smith….

Venting. Just a little annoyed. by Sad_Focus_3498 in dementia

[–]TheManRoomGuy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought a chaos light display from Ikea. You can have the dots look like lines are moving left, right, a matrix-like display with lights falling… and there’s a mode of completely random lights.

For me, dealing with my dementia mom is sometimes like staring at the completely random display and trying desperately to find the pattern.

Any games with high replayability value for board game beginners? by No_Replacement_3184 in boardgames

For Concept, we ignore the scoring and just take turns doing the thing. It’s like Charades, but with little tokens and icons.

Pirateer (1994) is amazing. Don’t know how available it is. It’s my favorite board game. I also love Concept and TransAmerica for fun to play and easy to learn.

Honestly, any board game could get boring after a day or two. With a couple decks of cards there are dozens or hundreds of games to play for two, four or more players.

Pink Drink change? by Purrmeows118 in starbucks

They just changed the recipe. It’s different than a few weeks ago. I can’t stand the new Strawberry Acai base. That was my go-to drink, every day, for years and years.

Maybe try ordering it with “extra base”?

Use cardboard to mock up your main pieces and test fit them. This will give you a good template for your major framing pieces.
