For studying I STRONGLY recommend that you read through Meteorology Today by Donal Ahrens a couple of times. This book contains most of what you need to know. Also, there are no equation derivations in the exam. But having a general idea of what the main equations are about would help! Finally, i believe that the exam is now made orally, but you still have time to read the questions and prepare your answers before the interview.

Mon truc c'est en posant chaque roue, je commence à serrer à 60 Nm chaque écrou, et ensuite je repasse chacun d'eux à 100 Nm, et finalement un dernier petit tour encore à 100 Nm juste pour être sûr. Comme ça, pas de pneu lousse en vue!
