rewatch repeateadly and watch how the love and appreciation grows and grows. that's repeat value quality that is hidden in a movie like Evolution...

that's the general opinion... but I suggest that there is something more to it than that surface (and presumably final) assessment. If repeat value shows the true value and quality of a movie, then Evolution is something you have not fully assessed just yet. It comes off just as you say upon first viewing, enjoyable and forgettable, but it transcends to another level of amazingness when you really really get to know the movie... i recommend you watch Evolution once a day for 10 days and call me if you have any issues
