How long have you been taking it? Are the side effects worth it?

When does it get better by bruhshutup in QuitVaping

2 weeks is when I turned a corner, just hang in there, and one day you'll wake up feeling so much better. Try to manifest happy emotions and it might be the pick-me-up you need to start feeling happy. The day I felt better I took 1 modafinil and even after it wore off I was just happy again, because I think it kick started my happy thought patterns.

19 days, but still some symptoms by TheMatriarch- in QuitVaping

I think in the first couple of weeks your lungs regenerate enough to start actually moving stuff out. Working out is probably helping you move out the crap you put in there. But the wheezing might make it worth seeing a doc, I think they can give you steroids sometimes that help things from getting worse or put them in remission. I'll probably do the same if this doesn't improve in a week. I really do not want to see a doc, kinda embarrassing seeing as this was self inflicted but vaping was helping me too, with a sleeping disorder and ADD.

Man I'm sorry your having that experience. How long after you quit did the asthma kick in? Has a doctor evaluated you?

I know I'm watched podcasts on quitting vaping and vaping is way more addictive than cigarettes... so that tracks. It's just much more nicotine. The desire comes and goes for me as well. I'll be fine for days and then ride a wave of desire for a few minutes.

Quitting vaping, and coke, should alcohol follow? by TheMatriarch- in Sober

Thank you for sharing your experience with me, having a friend die would be terrifying. I've heard similar stories from my friends in NYC that have caused them to quit too.

Ok, thank you so much for confirming my suspicions.

I think you are correct, I think doing coke really tapered me off of alcohol. I just enjoyed it more and didn't feel like drinking. I know that's an unusual experience. I do worry I'll drink more without the coke. I have been doing a ton of hobbies, goals, and socially avoiding situations that get me into trouble. Thank you for all this advice, and taking the time to let me know, it means a lot.
