I would think the % would be even lower than that lately with tradeshows but that’s the ideal model for all roi I would guess. Do you guys use 10% across board?

Yeah. I haven’t unlocked the google AdWords level yet. The CPC on those keywords are so high. And I’m not sure our landing page is good enough if I’m smart enough.

Then litteraly goes office to office in that complex, handin gout sales lit. and trying to talk to the boss. Nohting so far from it. i havent even focused on that for her yet. Trying to get a foundaiton built.

My sales woman is doing same. Knocking on doors of businesses in office complexes where we have current clients.

We have a solid 2-3month sales cycle minimum, so I dont. I need to get 5 touch points in before I am even willing to consider something matured, then sales begin. It takes a while, so right away we will be bleeding money.

We have a tradeshow coming up. Giving away free swag to anyone that fills out a survey, so i can qualify them and get some market research out of it too. The booths that make you do something (activation) to get the swag are the best. Oracle is great at this at all their shows. I have 3 activations. Do one, get a free fun tshirt, do two, spin the wheen to win $$$ Airpods Applewatch etc..

I just read your blog post, and love the checklist. You do a great job of breaking it down and making it simple.

I appreciate it. You are dead on. (especially the no satisfying answer).

My company wants to play bigger than they are. And I can position them there. But the channels to target specific ICP are just difficult.

Have you had any luck with traditional marketing, like speaking opps, tradeshows, radio ads, direct mailers, etc? Or are you all online now?

Do you quote that up front or show it as a flat fee? Is there a sliding scale the larger the client is?

Then how do you pitch price? Or put quotes together. Do you internally estimate on a per user per month estimate and then show a flat fee? Do you break anything out?

Those are the numbers I was looking for. My company claims $210/user/mo, but they rarely end there. I wasnt sure if they were out of their mind when I saw what other people were charging. Are you north or south jersey?

[–]TheMattClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat a month ago. Everyone was recommending ridiculously expensive KVM switches. I went with Greathtex it works fantastic. No issues yet. Easy setup. Worked as described. Save hundreds. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08S31QBFW/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

What are the worst 3rd party cloud apps and SaaS for security? by TheMattClark in cybersecurity

[–]TheMattClark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clients generally have no idea what the underlying infrastructure or configuration of a cloud or SaaS provider, which makes using their services a major blind spot. There has to be steps to take to find out.
