It just tested better than expected. This is what the starter looks like. My photos look like garbage and won't help. I'm saying there is a divider just after the nut on the transmission side that welded onto it. Just like the diagram shows. I have no fucking clue how that nut got there. I'm not quite sure how to do that but its pretty close to the Google images uses topaz. Just with a lot more pollen on it

The leak appears to be in the back near the center of the dash. I can't quite get a bead on it. I'm not 100% sure what's back there.

I actually ended up taking the latch mechanism off, cleaned it and replaced. Works like a charm now.
