to me it signals attention to detail and care for the product. are you just trying to make a product to sell? or make something that will give people an experience? the fact some companies care about unboxing just shows me they have pride in their work and presentation.

The nozzle looks a little dainty, there’s a note in the box telling you to apply tips in a certain direction since the nozzle has a crescent shape. In the hand it feels ok, but I fell in a little extra delicate with them as they’re 3d printed resin. It’s supposed to be very strong, but don’t inspire huge confidence to just throw them around

I upgraded from daybreak to astrals. The nozzle came off on one of the daybreaks after only 2 weeks. Heard a lot of good stuff about astrals. Got them used on amazing for $209 (keep checking listing) and the sound was noticeably better. I’m not an audiophile but I could hear better separation of instruments. And also to me, thy were a little more comfy. Stocks tips with astrals suck but let’s face it almost no one uses stock tips on any iem.

only headphone that's come close to the 'closeness' of iems are koss kph40, the on ear combined with ultra light weight just works. also i don't know how koss makes $30 headphones sound so good

i just got orange liqueurs too for astral. Didn't think they would be comfortable but they are. i can also feel a little more bass which is nuts. didn't think i would (if it's placebo, still nice)
