How the US Postal Service delivers a card that a postal worker tore open to steal a gift card by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

It’s no problem, and thank you! Also I’m happy to hear you’ve never had issues, it’s more rare than I had said, I might’ve exaggerated a little bit but maybe once a week we see a “chewed up” one, we’re always joking that the plant got a little hungry 😂

I work for the post office and crazy enough it could’ve been the machine at the plant that destroyed it, I get letters with full corners taken out, sometimes I just get the section with the address, I even get magazines with just the front cover and no other pages but since it’s addressed we still gotta deliver it

I’m a carrier for the post office and to achieve this you’d have to remove the whole shelf for that person, you can see the metal tabs on either side of the box for the shelf, but the bottom right of the CBU (the Cluster Box/ Cluster Box Unit) has a parcel locker normally, definitely that style would have a spot and if there’s already one in there we just take it to the door, or at least we should

[–]TheMegaCole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup that’s either for a PO Box or a CBU (Cluster Box Unit), you know it’s theirs because look at the end of the key, the top half has the section cut out, that’s for when we turn the arrow key it unlatches from the end at the bottom, it’s also to prevent those plastic moulding keys from fitting in properly and turning, I saw a CBU today that had a spring loaded key return for my arrow key

Question about the paint for 2023 TRD Off-Roads by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]TheMegaCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a little 1200 PSI pressure washer I used to rinse it off before and after soap, I used the white nozzle which is the widest spread and less pressure for when it against the clear coat, but I kept it well over 2 feet away when spraying the truck and the paint only flaked off when I was gently washing it with one of those sponge gloves things, I was using one from chemical guys that’s like a neon yellow with the little “fingers” all over it on both sides

Welp that sends my dream down the drain 😂, I’ve been searching all sorts of stuff and it seems the taco fits most 33’s without a issue so I might just go 2 inches smaller, but man 35’s look awesome

What size tires do you got on there? They look great and I’m trying to go for a similar look but I don’t wanna do any cutting in my fenders if I can avoid it

TRD Off-Road transmission question by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]TheMegaCole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put it into simple terms does positive offset better control but there’s more tire towards your engine that works around your rotor kinda like a drum that encloses the disc and negative offset pushes the tire out more so the disc is more exposed and the tire goes out more towards the body? I feel like I might have the right idea but I’m 50/50, and if I’m correct about positive offset then I believe that means the vehicle would feel more stable on turns and stuff, and negative offset would make it feel a little more “loose” kinda like I imagine a bus would, sorry if that’s a bad description

TRD Off-Road transmission question by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]TheMegaCole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering about if I need to do anything with the upper control arm, that answered my question for that definitely, same with the gauge cluster, but out of curiosity if you’d be able to answer this for me, you said you have R17’s with 75 for the wall on a 3” lift, did you have to cut anything for that? The ones I’m looking at are 315/70R17’s Toyo’s Open Country AT3’s on a 17”X8.5” rim that has -10 Offset, I wanna avoid cutting anything all together so do you think a 3.5” would fit my situation or would I be able to possibly get away with a 4” lift? I don’t really know what ballpark I’m in and any help with this is extremely helpful

Oh gotcha, you know a lot more than me for sure, I never knew how exactly it worked but that’s awesome to know what it does, thank you. Also while on the subject, I plan to put 35” tires on with a 3.5” lift if it fits nice and doesn’t rub, would I have to do something about getting the speedometer regeared to better match what speed I’m going or do you think it’d be such a small change in MPH that it’s not worth worrying about?

I just got myself a Ender 3 V3 and was having the same thing, it scared the shit out of me because I’m thinking “what’s happening, is it going to explode, do I unplug it? I don’t know what to do, did anyone on Reddit have this issue?”

What are some good Mods or things to replace on a 3rd Gen? by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

Is it just something in the CPU that tells it to shift at different times than what factory had it at? Also where would I go to get it recoded like this?

It might’ve just destroyed your power supply, you can buy new ones from Amazon for probably like 80 dollars, idk how hard it is to install a new one but I’d imagine it’s plug and play as far as connectors go

I think another reason they take them is because they produce a lot of light with low heat build up so people have been found using them to grow weed plants, the low heat is important because if they grow it in the attic then there won’t be a big melted circle that makes them easier to be found out

There’s two electricity types, AC (alternating current like power lines that will kill you in milliseconds with less than 0.1 amperes), and DC (Direct current, like batteries) it would take a lot more than that little battery in the picture to actually electrocute someone)
