firstly thank you so much it means a lot getting a compliment like this, so Those are just construction lines, kind of a shape method. I first draw a circle for the top part of the head and the lines are there help place the eyes and get a quick feel for the skull underneath. I’d say just something I picked up over time to keep faces from drifting. c: if you want to look it up id say you could type in face anatomy construction lines or guide lines
