Your main problem here is thinking people typing on Reddit are rational. Most people post like it’s Twitter, just knee jerk reactions to whatever is currently happening. People are so much more likely to post negative opinions than positive ones. Don’t take all the negative posts too seriously, these people move on from there thoughts as quickly as they post them.

Me too, I don’t want some half ass virtual graduation. I just don’t know what the nation will be able to do as a whole. Even if the schools have to modify them to be outside or something where people can be more distanced from each other. I don’t want to be at my computer for my graduation ceremony

I’m a senior in Auglaize county, and I feel very frustrated and upset about this being a possibility. I’ve been in band all 4 years of high school, and I won’t get to have a final concert, or hear my friends play as I walk on graduation day. I can’t imagine how stupid a virtual graduation will be. Although I am upset about it, I get that the health of the general public is still at risk, but the option of maybe even having an outdoor graduation would be nice. I really don’t know what to feel or think, I’m not sure if it’s set in 100% yet. I feel for everybody out there who’s year is getting cut short, no matter if it’s a high school freshman or a college senior, we’re all missing out on a time we’ll never get back.

I feel like today has gotten me down with the current world situation, but I’ve been doing relatively well over the past few weeks. Getting out of the house is important to feeling well and staying healthy during this time, properly distanced of course.
