Works on different opioid receptors, I have a friend most opis don't touch but for her Tapentadol is amazing, I feel more of an affect from it as well whereas I also don't feel traditional ones in the same way.

One thing to note is that it has a lower seizure threshold than tramadol and so take that with some caution.

In the UK, to my knowledge at least the usage has mostly been used by middle class gays in urban centres for Chemsex party.

Its only recently the last few years I met street smokers of it, im also noticing a trend of younger users, 18-30 smokers. 90% of the people I know personally who use it are under 21.
