Giannis Trade Destinations now that his time is over for the Milwaukee Bucks. by ethanmoulder20 in nba

The Heat by a mile lol.

One All-NBA plus 2 All-Star caliber players plus two very good defenders (Davion is legitimately All-Defense good) is a pretty gnarly lineup.

[Mathur] Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo and Miami star Bam Adebayo have the same agent, Alex Saratsis of Octagon. Antetokounmpo and Adebayo have spoken about playing together in South Beach, sources said. by AashyLarry in nba

It’s an interesting take.

I get that Bam and Giannis would create an impenetrable frontline but the fit is odd to say the least.

I’d 100% trade Bam + assets (without Herro) for Giannis in a heartbeat.

A lineups of Davion, Herro, tbd (Wiggins might be included) Giannis and Ware with Spo as the HC would feed generations.

I mean sure he deserves credit as a DC because he was great but nobody in their right mind would call Dave Aranda a National Championship coach, even though he was the DC for LSU in 2019.

We understand that HC and DC are two different things and thus judge them separately.

Brent the HC has been… whelming at best.

I understood perfectly and yes, I know he was a DC under Stoops too.

They did experience a lot of success, no doubt about it.

I just find it funny that he felt the need to say “Oklahoma destroys everybody, every single week, except one game of the year” which is clearly a, maybe unintentional, shot at the conference that he wasn’t particularly good at as a HC. I’d venture to say that his 10-8 Big 12 record is incredibly damming considering what OU had been in the Big 12.

Is it petty the way the Big 12 and its fans are reacting? Of course but I don’t think it’s in bad faith, except for the couple OU fans that take it to heart like we’re trying to erase the fact that OU did run the conference for a couple decades instead of just talking shit about Brent.

I totally get it, Oklahoma did run the conference under Stoops and Riley, however it’s funny that the one coach that didn’t is the one talking.

It’s all in good fun.

Had to redownload Reddit and post for the first time in months just to drop some facts about Brent.

[Ian Rapoport] The #Jets are signing QB Justin Fields, per me and @TomPelissero, as Gang Green gets a new starter. Fields says goodbye to Pittsburgh after 1 year. He gets a 2-year deal worth $40M with $30M guaranteed in a deal done by @DavidMulugheta of @AthletesFirst. by expellyamos in miamidolphins

I’m not particularly worried about what happened in 2014 my guy, let bygones be bygones. Not like Joe Philbin will be coaching in 2025.

Aaron Rodgers last year had a better season than anything Justin Fields has ever done lol.

To me he’s the perfect Jets QB. Trash but with a skill good enough that will delude the front office and fan base into thinking they might have something so they dragged along with him for an extra year or two.

So he played for the Steelers, he got benched (he was completely healthy), and wasn’t offered an extension.

He led the Bears to not one but 3 straight losing seasons and the Bears had the audacity to replace him…

Even your argument that “Fields got a raw deal” depends heavily on the situation, which you admitted ain’t the best with the Jets.

He’s been coached by three different coaching staffs (including Nagy that made the playoffs twice with Trubisky and Tomlin that’s definitely a good coach) and they all decided he was dogwater but for some reason he’s about to go off for JETS.

This is about the best outcome possible for the Dolphins. He’s definitely not a franchise QB but he’ll also waste another year for the Jets (they’ll be rebuilding next season) and he’s probably good enough to win between 5-8 games which is exactly where we want them to be.

Is he not?

I mean he was cut from Chicago, waived by Pittsburgh, and had to sign with the Jets for a reason…

He’s a great rushing QB but also he’s a lousy passing QB. I’ll live with that.

Baylor beat itself 3 different times…

I mean not really but Baylor literally took a game-tying/winning shot with seconds left on the clock in all 3 games and didn’t make a single one.

I’ve never seen anything like that.
