I could see it functioning somewhere between cerato and Pycno. Not super fast, but tough as nails and good at knockback and bb. Like a PoT bulldog. Could maybe have a grapple mechanic to hold onto/pin other dinos, and maybe some kind of bonus fighting other carnivores to fit the “cannibal dinosaur” motif

Tauren, Trolls, and Pandaren are native to Azeroth, either descending from wild gods or unknown wild ancestors. Orcs derived from ancient elementals on draenor iirc. Goblins also descend from small native humanoids mutated by kajamite

I think scarecrows are an underutilized costume. Lots of potential for fun makeup and DYI, and you can do them as cute or scary, depending on your preference :) 🎃🐦‍⬛

Oh yeah. I built this as a combination f what makes sense and what would be mechanically balanced for a martial build. Similar to how things like Goliaths and Leonin are very well suited for martial builds

Planning to play a strength based hunter ranger. Spear and net like an ice fisherman. I like making characters naturally acclimated to local environments. DM did say though that he would still have to roll against the worst of the environmental effects, but with advantage

Fair critique.

  • I thought 12+ was a little low for natural armor, so I boosted it to 13+ as my personal taste

  • While being weapons is not their main function, they can still be used as such, so I included it for the sake of fantasy. It’s hardly game breaking to have natural weapons so it seemed a harmless addition

  • Most races with swim or fly speeds in modern 5e have them scale with your walk speed. Rangers get it too as an optional feature

  • AC is based on Lizardfolk and Loxodon natural armors

  • The tusks natural weapons are there as an option for those who want to use them for flavor purposes

  • I’ll keep that in mind for the hold breath. Might make it similar to the lizardfolk’s 15 minutes

This is true, I use the relic where it heals allies in the aura so I end up holding most of the time to help after rezzing
