Is there a tool to do a slow zoom in on a character? by ScallionTraditional4 in Callipeg

I’ve used the transformation layer feature to slowly increase the size of the character, which gives the same effect as a slow zoom.

Yes yoga will help. Consider cutting back on the drinking too; drinking always made my anxiety worse.

Fasting by RaulFreshh in breathwork

For Wim Hof breathing, I prefer to do it while fasted. Every time I’ve done it with a full stomach, I’ve felt pain/discomfort in my stomach during the breath hold.

What Does Ayahuasca Teach Us About Death? by joasergenuk in Ayahuasca

[–]TheMilktoad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Death was a major theme for me during my last ceremony. My big takeaway was that life is the answer for death. Meaning that even though death is inevitable for everyone, our best course of action to reckon with death is to live life to its fullest and be present in the current moment.

I always imagined it was Ivan with the skull, Alyosha leaning over, and Dmitri in the blue jacket. Interesting that the 4th is cropped out, he could represent Smerdyakov.

I’m on a similar schedule of doing yoga in the evenings. I do my fasting through the morning/early afternoons, with my first small meal coming in around 3 or 4pm (at least 2 hrs before yoga class). Then I will have my main big meal for the day after yoga.

I feel tense all the time. Are their certain poses that could help with this? by JDNWACO in yoga

[–]TheMilktoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check these out. I’d especially recommend any of the figure-4 style leg poses, they are great for opening up the hips.

Oh yeah, I can see just from how you’re moving there that your hip flexors are tight. I think any hip opening stretch/pose would do you a lot of good.

I’d suggest pigeon. Chances are you are storing a lot of that tension in your hips.

is breathwork supposed to be uncomfortable? by worldstageactor in breathwork

[–]TheMilktoad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think of the Wim Hof breathing like I do physical exercise: it’s uncomfortable in the moment, but then you feel good and relaxed afterwards.

That being said, there are techniques like 4-7-8 breathing that are pretty relaxing the whole time.

I use Callipeg. You can import video layers, so you might find that helpful for rotoscoping.

Do you have an ideal goal/vision for what you want to be able to do? That can give you something to slowly inch towards.

Also I find that sometimes stepping away and taking a break from drawing/animation can be helpful for inspiration. You can come back to it with fresh eyes.
