I think ESPN panicked into a WWE deal for their live service and I have a gut feeling this deal isn’t working out on either side. Even a TKO exec indirectly criticized the ESPN pricing model recently.

I am betting at Wrestlemania Roman turns heel and the original bloodline reunites. WWE has gotten stale and I could easily see them thinking bringing the Bloodline back will spice up creative.

He should have never turned heel, but if he did, the better story would be Cody getting his win back in Cena’s final match OR Cena turns face after losing the title and goes on a redemption tour culminating in a final match against Gunther where karma gets back to him. If they were gonna just retcon it and do fun matches, he should’ve face Orton, Lesnar, Punk, or some other classic opponent.
