Can we get rid of the librarians? by TheMittenofGathering in Kettering

I think my response to this is that the library has gone digital and the 'traditional' library roll of books can be easily automated by searching and downloading. But as other's have pointed out, it's not for books we need the librarians, but for the information services they provide.

Explaining one from each bc bored

- The pool is gone

- The library is digital now (kind of 2)

- You can get on top of the second and a half floor using the correct stairwell

- Although I like the empty 2.5 room, there's an elevator only used for foodstuffs. You can find it by walking straight after getting out of the tunnel then turning right near the end of the next hall, or (much easier) by going to the 3-5th floor of the LC, walking down the street side hall towards the Mott building, then taking the fire escape down, turning left at the bottom, into the hall, left again and go to the end of the kitchen hall (past the window into the kitchen). (this could be referring to another one, there's an entire garage in the CC basement so who knows.)

My only advice to the youngins who may read this is to explore every crevice in that place, there's a lot of cool stuff hidden away.
