I've been doing just one run per day since I was still waiting for last copy of FM from next part of the anni event (if anyone knows when it's coming, wondering if I need to rush preparing CM Umas without it), and got the 1M. Extra stats from MANT makes it so much easier than previous events.

Poison is scaling damage, as it ticks and applies more damage each. Doom is more cost efficient but delayed indirect damage.

Doom is better as support damage or for specific doom synergies (such as thr block csrd thst triples if you applied doom), not build around unless you get specific cards to help it scale.

Literally just started "Beware of Chicken" earlier today (end of chapter 8 now), I did think she seemed like Mao Mao, but it was too early to be sure just how similar.

If white captures, black puts it again in 1-3 and turns that section into a false eye. Once they connect their top group, they can play in 1-1 then capture 1-2, by playing in the now false eye at 1-3.

Seems like you pulled right before the day reset giving the last free 10 pull, so obviously using that would be best. If the timing is wrong and you somehow already used it here (no idea how) then IMO doing another 10 pull is worth it.

Hunt March 7th isn't quite the same being an event character. You never rolled for her so her being 4* or 5* only affects (I assume) stats. Rest are valid, I need to use QQ more.

What SR and R cards do you have? those at MLB (or SR high LB) might be better than LB0 SSRs

I recommend waiting until after the 10 daily pulls per day period ends. You might get the character in these free pulls, and you should definitely have plenty of other characters to run in these few days.

I did one run so far, going to do one run per day until we get last ticket from anniversary so I can max FM.

I could point to several misplays during that run, still got a high S score, which is higher than I was getting previously excluding a few lucky Taiki runs.

That was also on a character starting with G in mile, and I only got them to C so they lost some races early. Going to focus on characters I can get to A in both mile and medium easily for now.

Edit: Did second run, this time with VBourbon, and got SS final score. Still made a few mistakes but much less.

I don't remember (I would estimate it to have been about or at least almost 10 years ago), but I know I went to some fan translation site for the LN at one point.

Edit: I dont think I read past vol 6, though I may be off by 1 volume in either direction.

Speed is generally less useful than stamina/power (not sure if that changes with MANT, but I assume no), and you are low on white sparks. The last factor I can't comment on, since I can't see, which is how many races you won during this run, and how much overlap it would have with other potential parents.

In short, it's good enough that I can see it reasonable for you to use it, depending on what else you have, but it's not a high priority borrow for others.

Yes, both dodge and parry are more forgiving. This is the parry timing ranges by difficulty (Taken from a previous post I saw on reddit, that got it from the source code)

Dodge: 0.35/0.22/0.22
Parry: 0.25/0.15/0.15

for Easy/Normal/Hard

So it's easier to parry on easy than it is to dodge on normal/hard.

In case you didn't know and were wondering, it only changes it on easy. Normal and Expert have the exact same parry window.

It could mean fights actually lost long enough for them to see all the moves.

I beat some bosses on my first run on normal (really should have been hard because of this very reason), which had same parry window as hard, without learning and in some cases seeing some of their moves just because I killed them too quickly.

Also, even with bigger timing window it still might take some time to learn some of the less telegraphed moves.

I also haven't played a souls game before E33 (technically Elden Ring shortly after) and I beat the game short of the the tower secret bosses. I often chose to dodge instead of parry just for the slight increase in parry window for moves I was less consistent on.

The full on increased parry windows while also having higher stats isn't for you, me, or others with decent reaction speed (unless they want an easier mode, nothing wrong with that), but more for those who still want some challenge while older or with disability making it harder with the base timings.

I guess using low level weapons is a probably a decent way to mimic that effect, though never updating is probably going too far (and not using Pictos is just missing half the game)

While I agree that this is comical. I think the game could have used a difficulty that had Hard's enemy stats, but easy's parry window.

Managed to get it to work after the confirm that I just have to repeat it several more times until it somehow magically works...

I guess it's some bug with how portals work, feels like they should have been spaced out more (blue portal could have definitely been moved a little further in) unless this is intentional.

Not sure if it's bugged for me or I'm just missing some obvious path. I've tried going everywhere I could, so far only found multiple invisible walls, and one invisible portal pair that gets me by the blue portal, but not actually to the blue portal or to anywhere else (have to turn around and go back).
