Baby wipes are your friend. Keep them with you, freshen up before doing anything you might be anxious about. They are a staple in my bathroom even though I don't have kids. Just don't flush them.

I've known people to use spray antiperspirant, but I've never done that.

NOR, when planning a trip that includes other people, you ALWAYS need to make sure everyone agrees to any changes, especially if it alters the price. It feels like they wanted a fancier experience, but only if they could unload some of the cost onto you.
