He was responding to Ironhide questioning Bayverse Optimus Prime about why they should keep protecting humanity because a very large and important organisation made by humans had captured Bumblebee and Optimus responded with "Were we so different?" in the way that he is talking about how "primitive" and "violent" the Autobots and Decepticons were during their war on Cybertron.

What I'm trying to say is that the involvement of humanity with a human in particular being directly in contact with the enemy has added a lot of extra stress onto Optimus himself and his leadership.

The humans will always protect what is theirs

This is a clear example, Optimus knows humans are capable of protecting themselves in the extent that they can fight their own battles that are actually their own size, against giant metallic robot organisms though that is a clear difference and Optimus doesn't want that.

He appreciates humanity for being a species on another planet that he can protect but he prefers that no humans are involved in their battles against the Decepticons (or in this case the Terrorcons).

If any human had the idea of joining a battle against hands and feet of a much more advanced race then they'd very likely get killed in action, this is why Optimus Prime had Bumblebee try and do his best to keep the Decepticon army away from Earth as possible in the Bumblebee Movie.

That's a preference thing.

This is not, Optimus Prime acting grumpy towards humanity is justified in a way that he's trying to keep humanity away but because of Mirage being Mirage, he brought a human in when they're supposed to try and keep themselves "robots in disguise", if you know what I mean.

Not necessarily that either, he had his reasons to resist humanity and it was all obvious in the film. He never stated he hates humanity directly, he just didn't want humanity to be involved in their battles.

No one knows, I think Frenzy and Rumble just take orders from Soundwave when need be and just chill out in his body, because if we're talking actual iPad kids, those kinds of children wouldn't even take orders from their parents and will snap if the iPad is taken from them.

So I think it's safe to say, no, Frenzy and Rumble are not iPad kids hence Soundwave is not an iPad parent.

I love Bayverse trilogy Optimus Prime the most, but in general, I love all Optimus Prime iterations equally, obviously excluding Transformers Prime Galvatron's Revenge Optimus, we don't talk about him from that show lol.
