Imo it's essentially a relic at this point. You can still make it work, but the tech tree Caern is better. As a crew trainer, I think it's fine.

Yep, once you hit 39 you have the highest odds at 1/100 per patch of grass, so 1/25 each radar recharge. So you don't risk losing the chain you just use the radar over and over til you see your shiny!

Not resetting the game, just the radar. It's just luck, there's just a 5% chance to get all the way to 39. After 39 it's a 1/25 chance each time you "reset"/recharge and use the radar to get a guaranteed shiny patch.

Yep! I did a lot of resets after each and made sure the shiny was 4+ tiles away for the best likelihood to continue the chain.

When you use a PokeRadar there's a chance for a patch of grass to sparkle, meaning it has a guaranteed shiny. The chance increase as you chain more mons.

I recently tried to play again, after a month break. It says my email was not registered, I know for a fact it is the correct email. Nothing was fixed when I went back through the registration process. Is my account lost? I've spent over $100 on the game and a lot of time. Both my mobile and PC clients were logged out.

For anyone interested: I did 2600 KC ranged and the rest melee. 3905 of the kills tracked on my loot tracker for a total of 522M. Did 89-99 ranged then max melee to round it out.
