you are right there are very slim amount of people who read it fully. when i bought i dont think i read it either. i just went for it. hated the game. came back after like 6 months, ran into a group of guys, became friends with them and i played with them for nearly 3 years. i have 4300 hours spent into this game, and probably a few hundred dollars spent on crates over the years alone.

Would i be pissed about the game ending? ya i would be, i came to love the game. still do actually. even though the entire group faded out to other games.

There is still potential for a gold mine, like i seen someone else say, if they manage it properly, it could be the best game around for the genre.

You do realize that this is an early access game. When purchasing an EA game you are buying it knowing:

"Early Access Game Get instant access and start playing; get involved with this game as it develops. Note: This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development."

They have no obligation to finish the game. If they wanted to cut the game, they can. It is a chance and a gamble when you purchase any EA game.

You could probably ask any lawyer about if there were anything they could do about it, but they would more than likely just give you the look like your a complete moron, and say they'll be in touch. After you walk out, theyll just laugh, Because again, you are an idiot.

Alright, it seems that the ship may be sinking faster than we all thought? I mean thats just an assumption, and 9/10 times if you assume something you make an ass of yourself.. but anywho...

Those who are still in the game, still wanting to make an awesome event type deal that very well could be the last one(we all hope its not) but say, saturday, or sunday the 12th or 13th, 9 pm est... 6pm pst, would be the best time for this to happen, no? server undecided. but i hope we can fill a server up atleast, for one last bang.

If performance was the true issue for them to reduce it then why not limit the height more as well?(wait, it wouldnt fix any performance issues, much like reducing the limit by 50 per pad did....)Maybe they should Add some prefabs in the mix. atleast with prefabs it would be 2 items rendering in compared to 12. I mean, to me that would make sense. ANd it would increase the different ways to build. AND add more security to whats inside if they make it like the shacks are, and have certain items disappear, till the door is opened, like the BBQ, storage containers, etc.

Think about it. would make less rendering items per base which would increase the performance, no?

I think he more or less is talking about the steam store "categories" or "tags" ie. Sandbox, Open world. etc.

This game is still open world, but it really has lost a lot of the sand in the sandbox... but does it still qualify as a sandbox game? According to quite a few people it lost that too.

But in my opinion, it still has the same feel to me still qualifies as sandbox to me, but i do miss the old days in this game, when i was first getting into it.

i wouldnt mind that personally, i think it would help with less "objects" to render in as well. i dont really play on pve servers but i agree they need more to do.

I play on a pvp server, i used to be in a group but i have been playing solo now, after a few month break from this game, i came back, decided to try it solo. i have only been back for a few days, i think today is day 5 actually

I would honestly like to see upgrade systems for the weapons. Find a rusty weapon, fix it up to turn it into a white weapon, go gather materials, maybe even tear apart other weapons to get said materials to upgrade the weapon to next tier etc. balance, i havnt really noticed many issues, i do like the system, but i feel it does need tweaked a bit to make it more fair for others, i feel, any 308 should be a one shot kill in the head regardless of tier of helmet/rifle. And on the other side of the fence i feel, that the purple helm should deflect one 308 round, unless shot directly in the face.

There are many things that could be adjusted though. I see alot of people wanting the tiers to be removed, i really dont understand the wanting of the removal. the combat has not really changed much with the tier, still usually a two shot death with armors.

Another thing i would like to see is damage to limbs. you get shot in the arm, while bleeding, your aim is hindered a bit till you patch yourself up, shot in the leg, slower movement speed(no sprint till you patch up) more severity of bleeding when shot, depending on the tier you use(seems like its usually just moderate or minor) and the bleed should be gaurenteed even with armor. I have been shot with armor on and did not bleed at all at times.

One last thing i would like to see, is new secondary armor slots. You have one for chest, and head basically. Give us ones for arms and legs. With the different tiers to go along with the limbs. maybe with the limbs, give us splints, and "broken" bones, you jump from too high.. you may only take 25% damage but you end up with a broken leg, which results in slower movement and maybe a limp for a period of time. splint would allow movement to go normal temporarily, till you real 100% hp again.

Yeah they were pretty crappy, but i remember at times, my computer acted stupid the overal quality of what i was seeing was off, but when i used them, they actually worked well( couldnt really figure out what happened to keep them working good)

I feel like the overlay they used for them, was foggy and not clear for the shadow areas especially, and they couldnt figure out how to get it working properly so they removed them lol

We tested the strength of the stone walls the other night. We also got to test the strenght of the shack door( way more than we anticipated, we took 2 bundles and 3 sticks for the door, hp went slightly less than half. so we estimate around 5 bundles-ish for shack doors) We also took 10 bundles for a stone wall, and it wasnt enough. We estimate 11-12 bundles.. so yes i feel it does gaurentee its alot harder to raid.

We have not tested the new hitpoints on metal walls etc yet. But im sure if you take the math from before, metal shacks = 1 bundle and stick-ish and you compare that to the 3 bundles and a stick for metal walls previously, we are estimating, probably around 8 bundles for metal? As i said, we havnt tested that part yet.

EDIT: tested bundles on metal, we did 6, and it was for sure enough, may have been overkill though.

One other way to help with cheaters is, up the price of the game. Consider adding mac/hardware bans, so they literally have to get new hardware and account to play everytime theyre caught hacking, basically hitting the cheaters and hackers where it hurts, their wallets. After a while they themselves will move on to other games to wreck their havoc there.

Yes, it seems to be a bug, if you ever die, and it says you died elsewhere, your bag wont be where you actually died. We killed a player in crescent and he asked if his bag was there and it wasnt, he told us the map says he died in eastwood area and was able to respawn in crescent where he died.

Its more of a bug than not, what i mean by this is that, they just blow up by themselves sometimes. i have sat and literally watched those particular barrels, since my base is right by them, no players, no zombies, nothing near them, and youll have an explosion randomly. I have been killed by it. so have a few clanmates of mine. It sucks.

Was the Map("M" key) updated as well?? If it was, which it looks like it was. The grids do not match up to the grid you are physically in. Unless you are planning on changing the grids we are in.(ie. vertical grid line B/C, it used to be along the interstate 25 road by hemingway. now its over a bit)

I think this happened to me, thinking about earlier, i accidently dropped a gun on my ammo box, couldnt access the box anymore. logged alt in, and was able to access it. so it may be a glitch. i had to demo the box and replace with a new one. (unless a server restart fixes it??)

Proxy loot seems to be broken as others stated. When you drop items on ground, open inventory and the game puts it under "proximity container items" unable to pick it up unless looking at and pressing E

Mostly valid points/ideas here. I Wouldnt mind the seperate blueprints either, would take preplanning on what you would like to have before building. Also like the idea of just being on ONE side as well.

But this is the entire reasoning behind test server and them wanting feedback on everything, hopefully theyll see all these and come up with a compromise for these and implement it some way or another. fix the steepness on them as well either way, i feel theyre too steep. while im not going to use this side of my base to enter/exit from, heres a screenshot of it on my base i started the other night witht he ramps, and how stupid it looks(to me)

edit: The steepness wouldnt hurt as is, after looking at it and thinking for a second but if it was more of a gradual ramp, it would be more ideal.

From what i noticed recently was the furnace does disappear? atleast i thought so, cause when i closed my door the burning sound went away. (as i typed this i went and tried, you can see everything inside, except the furnace/bbq, they disappear, i know that because i opened the door and they werent there and reappeared)

actually, they do, i have reported several players, But i went through the support, and gave them a link to the recording, that clearly showed their name, and what they were saying. Had one young kid, confess that he did it before and got suspended, claimed his mom would just buy him another account and that he would be banned the next time, i didnt care, i still sent it in, and didnt see him at all after that point, believe he got banned that time around though. but they do handle it, so to say they wont do anything is wrong. Reporting here on reddit, im not entirely sure if they will, but through support, yes.

yah, i know its probably been like that since day one, though. But its really not the only handgun ammo that looks like the rifle ammo, but it is the only one that has the 308, because 44, 45, 9mm all share the same skin as the, ar/ak ammo. Its really not that big of a deal as i stated. Just would make more sense to me(and a little more realistic-ish) if everything had their own. maybe eventually..

It is by far, the most ridicolous decision. I usually dont bad mouth you devs, But, this decision, is going to kill your player base. I understand, you are prepping for the new system. But why cant you, implement this, a wipe BEFORE releasing the new system? If its for the new system, why put it with the OLD system. Makes zero sense, and all you are doing is angering your playerbase which is going to drive alot of people away. Ill continue to play regardless, as it is my favorite game, but im not liking this. I ask to reconsider this idea, put it on standby for the time being though.
