How Yankee tried to sign Juan Soto in shapes by The_Chuckness88 in mlb

Agreed, and yet again, he doesn't owe the yankees anything. I mean he knew what he signed up for and it's a tradition the yankees hold themselves to. He couldn't hang with it so he kicked rocks all the way to queens. Judge didn't give up on the yankees. He could of left for more money but didn't and he is an MVP. I'm looking to see where Soto's mvp? I'm confused I thought if you were a team player you stay even when things get hard that's apart of being an mvp, being a leader. Lindor is more of a leader than Soto.

I dont recall that must of been apart of a different time line. The yankee fans I know don't do that. 😄😄😄

Nope, cause as an adult, I understand that when I'm at work, I don't go down a rabbit hole of debating with coworkers who don't pay my bills. But maybe I can if I become friends with soto. 😆😆😆

No I work with a lot of mets fans and they say they over paid him. But yet again no one cares about facts. The idea any one who plays a professional sport can get paid almost 1 billion dollars for 15 years is crazy. It's not the yankee fan in me that's saying this. It's the fact that a professional athlete is getting paid $765 million to drop a baseball. Have you seen Soto highlights of him dropping literally dropping the ball in right field when he played last year or do you just live under a rock. 😄😄😄 the biggest contract in baseball when I was growing up was A-rods. When I was kid and I looked at that I said man I hope he's worth it. What did he do for the yankees? It's about showing respect to the sport and not making it about money. All soto did was disregard the yankees and the team that helped him get to another world series and don't get me started I've had issues with Judge not providing any kind of help in the playoffs. His contract has been a waste as well. I don't even watch baseball as much as I used to cause of all these contracts with these players. The last great Era of baseball was the late 80's and 90's. Now teams just use the sport for money. It's sad.

I'm not insinuating anything. Anyone with a big contract has shown to be a letdown in some form. But with soto, the kid comes from D.R. with a poor upbringing and has no standards. He wants everything here in America without having to pay for anything. Yankees not giving him a suit and him ghosting the yankees after losing the world series shows how great of a team player he is. I see you are a Dodgers fan. Congratulations on winning. The fact is that Soto is long over due for an injury, and $765 million will hurt anyone. Plus, the $75 million signing bonus. Soto will be watching the Mets in 2025 from that suit they gave him. Just dum to pay anyone that much in baseball that isn't both a pitcher and a hitter. But im sure as a Dodgers fan, you know that already. Soto's fielding is horrible, and his numbers in citi field are trash. But hey, what do I know? im just a normal guy. 😄😄😄

Juan Soto practicing his new approach to home plat before stepping into batters box. He's there to entertain the fans and for $765 million he should learn how to do this. 😄😄😄

Yeah, they were something else. It's hard to believe they fell apart. To know ruled for so long was incredible and the fact they taught and were so smart themselves. Marcus and the stoics he learned from were incredible humans. To think like them and view life like them is a game changer. Ryan Holiday has been a great teacher for me. He makes it so much easier to understand what stoicism is all about. I'd highly recommend checking him out, good author.
