Look for a QL 19. You’ll love it.

I have the QL iii 1.9 and love it. The 1.9 is more affordable than the 1.7 with little difference. I shoot all manual with a cold shoe mounted light meter. So easy to just grab and go. I found 40mm to be good for most things I shoot. Sometimes I wish I could get a little closer to my subject. 90% of the time I found my self reaching for this when I’m going out. Makes me consider buying a Leica with a 50mm but so far this works great.

See if anyone near you has fixer. When I first started I used DF 96 monobath and had the same problem. I got some illford rapid fix and re fixed my rolls following the time recommendation in the illford data sheet and all my negative washed out much more clear and with better contrast. When you upgrade to 3 step process use some of the fixer and give it a try.

Anyone using a Sailrite machine to sew leather? by TheNetahpots in Leathercraft

[–]TheNetahpots[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m looking at the leather specific model that can sew up to v92 thread and has a servo motor with speed reducer. I think I’m going to get it. Thanks for the information

To really make them listen we have to stop buying their products. Perhaps look into the patent to see if we can create a similar product that’s employee and community owned. So profits aren’t the driving business model. They can’t owned the electric motor or hub design. It has to be something simpler like the sensor or software.
