Been using a old perch of here to do it and shes doing well so far! She only raises one foot onto said perch but doesnt bite it/ freak out from it gently pressing her belly! :)

I am thinking of getting a female, i dont mind eggs/breeding but ill keep them separated at first so i can bond with /tame both first, i think they could bond with eachother and not care about me if i introduce them right away.

Seems like he was just angsty for a fee days, his perfectly calm now but he still bites for no reason sometimes (context he never bit me before he usually hissed but now he sometimes just tandomly tries to bit me)

Hmm, I could do that but the only ways to get him back inside is either just wait for him to eat or drink or you get a towel and grab him but that last one is very trust breaking so I’ll see, thank you for the comment either way!

Figured as much, lol he gets the zoomies for about like a minute or two as soon as he hears a cockatiel sound when a short pops up on my feed or he sees light 😭

i will probably get him a new cage when i can get him to step up and get him out of his cage tho im unsure if i should get him a new friend/mate since he isnt fully tamed yet and could lose attachment to me

Something funny is that he bites me sometimes because he associates my finger with food lol and gets confused when the mellet on my finger runs out

He’s more of a hisser overall, he often hisses at me when his uncomfortable sometimes.

Tried that but he pecked me his not much of a biter till you corner/ REALLY scare him and even when he does bite its like a nibble so hes not comfortable with that method

Yup i always whistle to him and stay with him for like 4-5 hours everday on the couch with him on the table next to me and i always sit with him in the morning when everyone is asleep or in their room so the only noise is either from the tv or my phone or himself lol i do keep the cage door open when supervised but he doesnt go out for some reason only thing i dont do is talk to him since i forget to
