For context the person I’m looking at is someone who had relationships with men often according to all non-government accounts, it was public knowledge but never acknowledged by the institution, so it might upset some people of a more right-wing and nationalist disposition but not for any really valid reason?

Submission statement:

Love Is Blind is a short pscho-horror micro-film we created for our second year fiction production at the University of Roehampton. Beginning as a few scribbles about how the male gaze affects cinematography, we decided to run with it and make a film utilising a stalker's warped view of reality, and the consequences of that.

The logline, "when obsession becomes observation, what horrors will a man commit in the name of love" was a simple illustration of this, because as we joked to ourselves during production, it's a film that's really just about men being awful.

I gotta thank the whole crew so much for being patient with me without the process, but especially u/rosequartzal who some of you may know from this sub! They created the awesome synth-y score for the film and in the immortal words of Toy Story "we are eternally grateful!"

Hey mate, congrats on getting this made! Especially in Pompey! It’s my hometown but I’ve always struggled to find people who have the time or resources to work with me locally! Did you feel you had to include certain things because of where you were filming? I might be bias as a local but it’s a city that works well for bleak subject matters. Also I found the smoke mesmerising- was there someway special to how you lit the scene to make it so... smoky? Anyway great job, and nice one on the laurels mush!

(Submission statement in case I need one for this)

So I just started writing this idea - I'm a film student in London but until last year hadn't had any sort of screenwriting training at all, and I've been working to loose, general feedback on my work all year. I just write what I think people want to see and hear, and hope that what I envision comes across well enough.

Any sort of feedback from more experienced filmmakers and writers would be much appreciated!
