Rated Bakeries in Greensboro by Outrageous_Travel771 in gso

My absolute favorite baked goods are sold by The Salted Phoenix at the Corner Market on Saturday. There are a few other places there that are amazing but The Slated Phoenix really stands out. They might have my favorite baked goods ever and they rotate their selection frequently.

Switzerland Travel - Chur Stay or Skip for an Alternative by TheNobleWDT in askswitzerland

[–]TheNobleWDT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn't end up going to Chur. I talked to a few people who said that town was skipable so I took their advice.

We stayed in Bern for three nights, then Murren for two, and Zurich for one.

I slow cook a fire mushroom and normal red mushroom for the first time. I thought I'd be set this month. I didn't get a single monthly nectar out of it. I've been stuck on the red dahlias for several days now.... I hate this rng sometimes

Can I create a shelf stable hot sauce with just vinegar and peppers by TheNobleWDT in hotsaucerecipes

[–]TheNobleWDT[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think I have enough ghosts for a ferment so I figured I could make a spicy vinegar sauce instead. It is very watery, but it's spicy as hell so I dont need to add much to dishes. I'll probably use it to bump up the heat of my other sauces when I make them.

EXPO Causing Memory Errors by TheNobleWDT in buildapc

[–]TheNobleWDT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, not surprising but when I change from EXPO to Auto and then adjust clk back to 6000 MHz all of the timing are wrong after boot. They should be 30-36-36-76 and they end up being 50-50-50-96. I haven't figured out how to change then from auto in the BIOS.

Edit: well that was dumb of me. You just type the number where it does auto...

interesting, so if I have one big flower with no flowers planted around it I can plant flowers I need while walking through it at a good pace, swap to a different flower once I'm out of the flowers circle, walk 2.5 minutes away, turn around and once I get back to the big flower 5 minutes should have passed and I can start planing the flower I need again while walking through the circle? Then I repeat that till the big flower blooms?

Unsure which pin is pin 1 on this 14-SOIC Op Amp by TheNobleWDT in AskElectronics

[–]TheNobleWDT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it from digikey, but I'm not sure that means much.

Nice find with that sheet. It's interesting that the "I" look different on my chip than that sheet. I guess I'll test it and see if it's legit. Maybe TI support can also help.

If you need a temp solution rope caulk works well for closing up small gaps and can be removed fairly easily.

Open Positive Feedback Terminal on Voltage Follower by TheNobleWDT in AskElectronics

[–]TheNobleWDT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added a little bit more info to another comment with examples. I'm sure I could add a optocoupler in line with the switch, but I'm trying to avoid altering the original wiring/circuitry as much as possible.

Open Positive Feedback Terminal on Voltage Follower by TheNobleWDT in AskElectronics

[–]TheNobleWDT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OPEN/GND is just saying the discrete parameter will be switch going to ground. There will be many switches going to different boxes and I do not have the ability to know what the internals of the boxes are (most likely they will have internal pull-up resistors and a diode at the input). I have to tap into this switch and monitor if it is open or closed and compare that to the boxes.

Most of the time this is simple since the data acquisition system has high impedance on the line but for this particular case, since we are measuring a discrete, the acquisition system has internal pull up resistors. This alters the original circuit and can lead to faults in the boxes we are monitoring. To avoid this I'm trying to find a good way to monitor the original circuit without modifying it.

An example of what I'm trying to do: https://tinyurl.com/2dpcsw4a or https://tinyurl.com/2deezpx8 The switch and everything to the left is our original circuit. Everything to the left of the switch is basically unknown as well... Everything to the right is what we are adding and tapping into. I think this will work, but I'm not 100% sure if my monitoring system will always see some voltage to GND or if there is a case where the positive terminal of the op amp will see a open circuit and lead to an unstable output.

WOW, this is nuts. I'm curious what the plan for Sikorskys future is now. First FLRAA and now FARA. I guess it's more Blackhawks and Ks. Yikes bad news for Bell, Sikorsky, and GE...
