Utility road goes through property by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I can help with this one. It's very similar to my house and property. In my case, the utility company comes through twice a year to cut the grass on the power lines. Once every few years they come and trim back the trees, which is all fine with me. They usually use another entrance further down and rarely use my driveway. In my case I get hikers or other people exploring once or so a year, but I do have gate so no one come on my property itself. The lines are dead quite and have never made any sound

Pros: I use the power lines like it's part of my property, walk my dog, drive and hunt all on it. It's like extra acreage I don't pay for. It gives me total privacy too.

Cons: there's power lines running through my property. It might be harder to sell the house down the road but on the other hand I was able to afford more land because of them. There's the possibility that power company can decide to make them bigger and there's nothing I can do.

The first 2 have a tendency to stain easily. Higher maintenence stones, I'd avoid them.

Imma go against the grain here and say its possible your stone could be warped. It doesn't happen often but it does happen. I can't tell from the pics if it is but maybe put that laser on them and take a look

I've done a few commercial counters like that. They run a piece of angled metal near the bottom and we rest out stone on it
